Green Thumb Nursery

Green Thumb Nursery was founded in 1946 in Canoga Park by Dale Bergquist and Errol Newton. Our Nursery specializes in garden supplies and plants for the novice gardener as well as the enthusiast.

We offer a full service garden center with California Certified Nursery Professionals at every store. Green Thumb has locations servicing communities from Ventura to San Diego Counties. In addition to nursery and garden supplies we offer a variety of merchandise lines that include hardware, irrigation, casual furniture, holiday, and outdoor garden art.
Green Thumb has been a family-owned business for over 60 years. Today the Bergquist sons and daughters continue the same “friendly service with a smile” that was a trademark of the original founders.
